Off to SF
Tomorrow, I'm flying out to San Francisco for about a week. It is, arguably, the best place for tea in the U.S., so I'll be doing lots of research while I'm there! I'll post as much as I can during the trip, and then add extras later. If you have anywhere to suggest I go for tea, vegetarian food, art or anything else you think I'd like, please drop me a comment and let me know!

of course you know Teance in Berkeley http://www.teance.com/ is a must stop along with Imperial Tea Court in china town www.imperialtea.com. I also happen to like this little shop in the heart of the city (best scones state side)Leland Tea Co. http://www.lelandtea.com/ - have a great trip can't wait to hear your finds...

Oh, I'm jealous! Have fun! I had a chance to go to the OLD Imperial Tea Court several years ago, before it closed. My memory of that afternoon is so vivid! All the exquisite teapots and the deep wood interior, with sparkling silver teapots. Ah, have a great trip!
It's so sad to see the old location now. The new ones are gorgeous, though! I'm a huge fan of the Berkeley location! With a huge, plant-filled porch and hand-pulled organic noodles, you can't go wrong. :)
